Martin Luther said, “I place music next to theology and give it the highest praise.”

In the Scriptures, skillful instrumentalists and vocalists were chosen by God to employ their talents to express praise to God and to declare His truth and righteousness.

The Music and Worship Department of Grace Bible Church seeks to glorify God by using that which is beautiful and excellent to exemplify three scriptural principles:

I. Psalm 150:6 Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.

We seek to praise and glorify our Creator through music.

II. Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

We seek to encourage and build up our brothers and sisters in the faith and to make the joy of the Lord a reality through song.

III. Colossians 3:16 Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Our desire is to draw believers into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and to provide an environment for non-believers to meet Him.
